Dr William Epperly

Dr. Epperly is a board-certified family practitioner with more than 30 years of experience — including 15 in functional and integrative medicine. With a background in clinical nutrition, he works to treat a variety of issues including: allergies, hormone issues, chronic fatigue, and bowel problems.

Dr. Epperly graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, and completed his family practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago. He is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital, although his practice is exclusively office based. He is a certified Clinical Nutritionist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolahryngic Allergy, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice, a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, and belongs to the Obesity Medicine Association and North American Menopause Society.

Dr. Epperly has also received special training through courses and seminars in the areas of allergy, hormone therapy, and clinical nutrition. This has enabled him to become enormously more effective in dealing with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, menopause, arthritis, bowel problems, and many others, while being able to rely much less on drug therapy. As an evangelical Christian, Dr. Epperly believes that good health is a blessing from God, and we are to be good stewards of the bodies we’ve been given. He tries to encourage his patients to pay strong attention to their spiritual health, and enjoys praying with anyone who so wishes.

Dr. Epperly's care team also includes Betsy Jacob, FNP-BC; Roanne Dunaway PA-C; and Anjitha Thomas PA-C.
